About Apsley
A defence engineering heritage, trusted by customers for decades
Apsley Engineering was established in 1984 by Graham Aymes BSc, CEng, MIMechE, following a career as a lead design engineer at Enfield Small Arms Factory and Deputy Head of Engineering at the Chemical Defence Establishment at Porton Down.
Graham swiftly secured a number of Defence contracts with customers who remain with us today. Now based in 12,000 sq ft premises at High Post near Salisbury, we have an enviable reputation as a flexible and efficient sub-contract precision engineering company.
